The observation xml file contains information on the observational data and contains:
- the ASCII file(s)
- frequency range(s) covered
- background source
- hydrogen column density and dust (beta, kappa, N_H)
- isotopologues
Remarks:
- an arbitrary number of observation data files can be defined in conjunction with an arbitrary number of frequency ranges
- for each obs. data file, the user has to specify the import filter, the size of the telescope, the interferometer flag, and the global vLSR.
- if the obs. data file is an ASCII file, the user can define the number of header lines, the character separating the columns and the error (weighting) flag
- for each obs. data file, the user has to define at least one frequency range, including the definition of min. and max. frequency, frequency step size, continuum (TBack and TSlope) and dust parameters
